Raven Run

Yesterday Mark and I met with Melissa, Keith and Olivia at Raven Run Nature Sanctuary. It was such a beautiful place, with over 700 acres and 10 miles of hiking trails. (I think we hiked all 10 miles....ha!) We had a nice picnic lunch and just took our time hiking, laughing and -- of course -- taking pictures. I couldn't help but post this picture of Mark and Olivia. Olivia spent the night with us and the evening ended with a small bonfire in the back yard. Special times.

Henry Winkler! What book of quotations has that one? But very true! Our greenery looked like this 'til 2 weeks ago, but in Missouri you are always only 2 weeks away from a drought, and we now appear to be in one. Like the photo and the quote!
