Today Mark and I celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. I guess it’s a milestone in one way – 25 years is a long time – but in another way I remember our wedding day as if it were yesterday. Sometimes I wonder how the years could have possibly flown by so fast.
We’ve had a good life so far. We have two grown children and a precious grandchild. We live a simple life in a small town. We’re like most people….we’d like more but, honestly, we have all we need.
I’m grateful for what we have together. We’re best friends. He’s easy to live with…he makes me laugh, he keeps me sane, and he's my biggest (365) fan!
When I took this picture of the little Black-eyed Susan I noticed the leaf overhead. It looks like it’s providing shelter to the flower. I can relate this picture to the two of us. Mark is always looking out for me, providing support, and trying to shield me from the rough parts of life.
So, as my new friends, I hope you’ll join us in celebration today!

Happy 25th Anniversary sis! What a wonderful accomplishment. To find your true love ....and still enjoy their friendship after so many years. In todays world you dont find most couples who can enjoy time together. Here's to you two .....i love you both! ..... also I loved how you related the flower to you and Mark.
