I went downtown yesterday taking some photos of the beautiful old architecture. They have been trying to renovate the downtown area for several years but have lost businesses in the process because the roads and parking were so messed up for awhile. I really hope it's revitalized because I think it's a charming little town with a lot of potential.
I do believe many downtown areas have succeeded in making a comeback. I love them too. Bowling Green is really doing a good job with this also, and I sure hope it continues. Lexington really has a nice downtown too, I think. It is surprisingly small for the size of the city. Hope they are too, successful. I think Joe Bologna's is my favorite place to eat in Lexington. Hope that is still open!
