Juxtaposition: Cold and Sun

This was taken during todays walk. Started in minus 3, finished at 3 degrees. The sun dissolved the frost. The lamp is still alight. It was the contrast that interested me.

Very pretty...even though it was cold the warm foreground color makes it seem much warmer.

Delightful warm Winter colours against the dark green of tree in the foreground. I am not sure the deep shadow works that well, maybe lightening the shadows selectively might help the overall image.
