I really struggle with these photos of flowers 'on the ground' laid down on the grass, squashed a few daises and only managed this pathetic attempt. Criticism/advice wanted please .....
I find the 2 out of focus flowers in the front are too much 'in your face' here. Try either moving those 2 out of the shot, or focusing on them instead.
I agree with Bridget, you could use a macro setting . I like the details of the middle ground ones and the ones in the back ground that have gone out of focus
Liz (my wife) has a Sony X-100 and (which I sometimes borrow) and I find that macros are so difficult using a camera without a swivel screen. It is a lot more controllable if you use spot focussing - and maybe you did, it doesn't show on the Exif details.
It's a nice shot, but perhaps the larger, nearer flower could have been targeted for detailed focus.
I agree with the above. The shot composition is great but the focus should be on the foreground flowers. You possibly did what I do and got too close as I want to get in there!
