Northwich Building by countrylassie

Northwich Building

This is one of the timber framed buildings in Northwich, Cheshire. As Northwich is famous for salt production, the buildings were built on timber frames so that they could be jacked up if flooding was going to happen, how inventive! I've been trawling the interent for information on this building, if only I'd taken a close up of the blue plaque!
Love the Tudor style houses.
