This photo was taken on Gribdale Moor, the steps are very well worn and go onward and upwards towards Roseberry Topping which is about 2 miles away around the corner.
Oh, Roseberry Topping! I remember a small yarn company ran a comp. to name a new shade of yarn some years ago and they chose R.T. for the name.
Love the composition and the lines of the steps. Your model (Mr.B?) gives a great idea of scale.
@dulciknit
Yes I told him to go and give me some scale so he did! The steps get lost in the grass and you can't quite tell how far up it goes.
I have not heard of that colour wool but I imagine it was very heathery:)!

You are not wrong there, but I had to wait for Mick to come up and give me a firm shoulder to hold to get back down!!
It's a great walk for anyone who is able but I wouldn't get far with all my achey bits!!
Thank you but would be much nicer if the sun had been shining!
