Chimney Bank by craftymeg

Chimney Bank

A few mamas in waiting at the top of Chimney Bank, Rosedale, North York, moors. Moorland ewes have their babies later than field ewes I’m guessing due to the colder weather they wait until warmer days. Ww
Nice on black

Thank you for all your lovely comments and favs all are appreciated and welcome.

They could be a bit of a hazard to drivers on the road couldn't they.

Beautiful scene. Unfortunately, in our country they use heather burning instead of sheep.

A lovely shot of these sheep beside the road. They always seem to gather on the short grass immediately beside the road - and then decide that the grass across the road looks better!
