This is the bottom of Carlton Bank as you come down the road to Carlton. The gate marks the end of the moors. It’s always such a lovely view as you descend into Carlton as can be seen here. The other day the afternoon sun was very mellow the leaves turning and with shadows across the road.

Such a lovely burst of colours as the autumn sun shines on the trees ! Lucky you - we have not seen any sunshine for day , but damp, dull and depressing weather !
