The Black Elder 'Nigra' is in full bloom next door and it is absolutely beautiful, this is SOOC and I am so pleased I manged to get a shot. Last year I failed miserably......

Strangely enough I was taking photos of Alnus nigra yesterday too - but it is winter here so I was trying to capture the amber droplets hanging from the end of their black cones. I had no idea that they had such pretty flowers. Fav.
