A trip over to the lavender farm this afternoon was really enjoyed, it was just a shame it was so cloudy. This shot is SOOC and shows the stripes of different colours of Lavender with views across the Wolds which dip into the vale of York. I wish I could impart the wonderful fragrance that wafted on the breezes, it was definitely a chill out zone:)) !!

beautiful shot and a Fav Actually it's often better for photography when it's cloudy because it has a soft light whereas the hard light of the sun sometimes blows detail out
