The weather was none stop rain so I didn't manage any photos over in the Dales. We decided to stop at Richmond on the way back, I only had my bridge camera with me that hates low light but managed to get this photo of the river Swale in full spate just before the light went, It was a fantastic spectacle and well worth the detour.

Wow wonderful capture!! When we were there in May there was hardly any water and people were walking on the rocks. It was like this last year when we were there and it is great to see it like this. fav!
