Murky Weather by craftymeg

Murky Weather

This is Paddy's Hole, at the South Gare near Redcar. The weather has been so murky this month all I seem to do is take photos of fog, rain and mud!. The boats are in a small harbour and just beyond is a dredging ship making its way out of the Tees estuary. This was taken earlier this month, today was taken up with a hospital appointment.

Do hope sunnier days are coming soon - but meanwhile, this one is quite full of atmosphere - fog does really neat things to shots. Hope all went well today.

But you make the fog, rain and mud look so awesome! I love seeing your photos, I get to travel without leaving Canada.

Nice shot of the boats both fore and aft. Like the misty background.

It gives the whole scene a slightly ominous look -- I'd hate to have to be out in a boat in this weather!

Neat shot.

What a difference from the sunny pictures of the moors full of heather in bloom that you showed us some time ago. Weather like this really puts me off, but I guess you have to live with it in the UK.

What a contrast between the dredger and the little boats in the foreground - intriguing capture and it looks distinctly dank there!
Hope your appointment went well.
