The temps rose to 17c today, wonderful sunshine and blue skies. Elterwater was so pretty nestled beneath Langdale Pikes, it reminded me of a Swiss village!
Nice on black
Thank you for all your comments and favs I appreciate them all, I will catch up with everyone in the next day or two.
Can I ask which lens you used for this and the settings? I am planning a trip up the Duddon Valley on Friday. Would love to be able to catch the colours of bracken as well as this. Thank you.

Hi Jane, I'm afraid I might not be able to help you, the camera is a Canon SX 50 bridge camera, so it has a fixed lens but I will give you exif readings
Which are;-ISO 400 F6.3 1/2000 . I don't have the focal length, but if you apply those details you should manage a reasonable shot. I always take my bridge camera when I need distance shots, I also edit in snapseed and add a little HDR. Hope this helps.
