What a difference a day makes! Today it's tippling down and has been since late last night but yesterday was glorious with temps of 23c and clear skies. So I have posted this shot of two expectant fishing nets and wellie boots, the green down by the river was packed with picnicking family groups and children paddling in the river. It was lovely to see, the only thing that seperates the scene and 50+ years ago are the wellie boots, in my day it would have been an old pair of sand shoes!

At first I thought they were butterfly hunting !! --BEFORE I noticed the wellies !! A lovely summertime shot , and yes in our days it would have been sandshoes or "pumps" !! -- or if no one was looking , bare footed !!
A wonderful capture of this lovely scene. Fav. The last time I have been to the UK, in Henley temperatures where like our summer and everyone was out on the green by the river while I was in winter suit.
