Another autumn scene from the other day, we have bad weather today but the leaves are still hanging onto the branches. We are on the edge of the nasty weather that's crossing the country so lucky it's not worse.

This is lovely. I especially love the purple. I was watching a movie just this week about color and painting. One of the main characters talked about there are colors everywhere we look. Often opposites color on the color wheel that at first we don't notice. The clue-violet is opposite yellow-orange on the color wheel and the yellow-green is opposite red-voilet. This photo bears it out for me.
this is so very beautiful. one of those photos that one can look at for a very long time and still see more. really like the dark branch in the middle; on black it really adds depth to the scene.
