Delight!! by craftymeg

Delight!!

In more ways than one this lovely delicate rose flavored Turkish Delight has taken me by surprise. It's turned out exactly like the classic recipe you buy in the shops and this is just my first attempt!! I have two vegetarian daughters and granddaughter and this traditional recipe is vegan so win win!! I will make more but I am trying hard not to think about the sugar content:-(. Luckily it's mainly kept as a Christmas treat.
I wish I could offer you all a piece!

Really dislike Turkish delight, but love the light and composition in this shot.

A great achievement to make Turkish delight. Have never known anyone do it before and looks beautiful. (But please give my piece to somebody else as I don't like it.)

Well done- nice cutting and showering with icing sugar. Yes, the sugar content must be overpowering!
