Dales Farm

A typical Dales Farm built with local stone, taken the other day. I love the earthy warmth of these farmhouses they have a natural beauty all of their own. The tree on the left must be 4 to 500 years old judging by the size of its trunk and the main farmhouse hundreds of years old looking at the way the stones are stacked.

To me, this is beautiful. I love the way stone homes look, and especially these with their aged wooded shakes. Bet that old tree has a few stories it could tell.
