Fir by craftymeg

Fir

At the top of Clay Bank near Chop Gate there are a couple of huge fir trees laden down with new and old seasons cones. A treat for seed eating birds that can get into the small fir cones and an eye catching sight for bird lovers who can watch them as they flit in and out of the laden branches.

Today as we sat and looked out at the view the temps were 22c but no sun just grey skies with the threat of rain and not even a breath of wind, it's been so quiet all day.
Nice on black

Love the new young cones next to the past season's cones. The color mix is neat.
