With temps of 5C this is a view of the moors and Danby Beacon today. There was a welcome warmth from the sun but it didn’t make much impact on the still cold temps. It’s now officially the first day of spring with as many hours of light as there are hours of night. It will be nice when the temps get into double figures but until then there are not many signs of spring flowers or early flowering almond trees apart from a few crocus which are very reluctantly pushing through the cold and now boggy ground. Everything is so late.
