This is Runswick Bay taken this afternoon. The sun had disappeared but temps were 9c which wasn’t to bad for January. Runswick is a small fishing village on the coast with houses built up the cliff side, it’s very picturesque and very precariously situated, over the years it has been shored up with many tons of cement to stop it sliding down the cliff side. This gives a real character to the many walkways alleys and higgldy-piggldy houses and tiny gardens. It’s a lovely place to visit at any time of the year.

Thank you for all your lovely comments and favs all are appreciated and welcome.
I like the warm tones of the roofs and the stones in the buildings. There is neat and orderly lines in the corners of the buildings and all the windows. Nice composition.
