Cherry time

The white cherry next door is putting a brave effort in to flower this year. It seems to have the virus that has killed a lot of cherries around here and it’s not looking very happy and is a shadow of its former self. Despite this it is still flowering and it’s nice to see a little colour.

I really don't like to see a tree die. I had a red dogwood in the front yard that has died. I still use it as a place to hang a bird feeder and a bird house, but I guess I will have to get it taken down one of these days.
