My hair was due to be cut the week we started lockdown, I hate it when it starts to come out of it’s style, so with baited breath I let hubby give me a trim. This is the result, it’s quite tidy and I am pleased it’s turned out more or less what it usually looks like. The selfie is not a good one but gives you an idea of what it looked like after he was finished, the back is good too!!
Now all I need is for him to fill my tooth the filling of which came out the day we locked down, there is no chance of that being sorted. The dentists advice was to get an emergency filler kit from boots and use that, they are making appointments for 3 months time but have no idea when it will be safe to start work again.

Brave you ,but well done hubby , there are many of us w= now due for a haircut I am sure - I had my hair cut just week before lock down , so due for a trim again ! so I have trimmed my fringe , the sides and around the ears and wait for it ,I trimmed the neck-line by feel and cut - !! its OK !! Hope the tooth will not start to pain for you or you mat have to resign into using polly filla ! ha !! Take care !
Agree, very brave, glad he did a good job. Sorry about the tooth. It happened to me too, but thankfully, our dentists will see us only if its an emergency,. so am making an appointment for next week
Good job! There's no way I would let my husband loose with the scissors! I wouldn't bother with the filler kit, I tried it once and it fell out pretty soon after I put it in place. It was very jagged though and caused me a lot of discomfort. I found that a piece of sugar free chewing gum did the trick until I could get to the the dentist, but I'm also told that babybel cheese wax is good too!
Oh, you're brave. Mine was due too, and I have an undercut, which has gone really straggly and the top layer has got too long. My husband keeps offering/threatening to cut it, but I keep refusing. I do his anyway, as it's just an all over no 1

My hair dresser has been giving "threatening" "encouraging" FB messages - pleading with us to be patient :) I think she's getting nervous of what she'll have to deal with. Fortunately, she had just cut mine that week before they shut them down. Hubby did a good job.
Nice! I'm about to do hubby's hair, but there is no way he's getting near mine. I trim it a little every time I wash it - I feel it's safer to do a little often than need a lot any time soon! I feel sorry for all hairdressers out there ... no work atm and soon to be inundated with lots of out of control hair styles!
Big well done to hubby. He did a really good job with the hair trim. I wouldn't have tried that on my wife. This afternoon I am supposed to be dying her hair this afternoon. God help me.
