The first rose

Our roses are just starting to flower, this is the first to show colour. It will be nice to see them in full bloom, they make a welcome splash of colour under my kitchen window. It’s a shame they have already been treated for unwelcome greenfly which seem to have made a meal out of all the new green growth.
