the road home

conditions are very dry here and with temperatures of 45C today we were warned of catastrophic fire danger conditions. fires are threatening parts of our state and we are all holding our breath in anticipation of another extreme day tomorrow.
Nice perspective. Please stay safe. And take care in the extreme heat.

Oh my goodness! I had to look up what 45 C is in Fahrenheit - that is hot! I can't even imagine what that is like. They are predicting bitterly cold temperatures here and a bad blizzard. I hope you can stay safe.

Your summer always sounds dangerous; I heard the news about more than 20 houses are lost in the fire. How cruel.

@sangwann thankyou for your thoughts Dione. We have a Mediterranean climate here in Adelaide so we have very hot dry summers and the grass and trees are always ready to burn
