@teiko thanks emilie. The weather has been cooler today making it much better for the hundred of firefighters working to control the fire which is still threatening homes in the Adelaide Hills. Thankfully not in our part of the Hills

@gigiflower its amazing how some plants can tolerate the heat. I'm aftraid my garden has to as we dont put much water on it

We are always prepared to leave if necessary although deciding what to take with you is difficult and some people have had no opportunity to take anything and have lost everything. The fires are not near out part of the Adelaide Hills this time but we have lots of bushland around which is extremely dry so we are always a bit nervous
