my Polish friend quickly created some soft fluffy Gnocchi made with potato and cottage cheese. Served with buttered breadcrumbs it was delicious

Beautiful capture and they look delicious. These are not the gnocchi I know of. Ours are pasta shapes which we fill with ricotta and boil. Then we eat them with tomato puree on top. Very tasty.

thankyou all for ejoying lookiing at our lunch even if you couldnt taste it. Gnocchi can be a bit rubbery sometimes but these were so light and fluffy they melted in the mouth especially when drizzled with buttered breadcrumbs.
