the holiday is over

Black and white suits my mood today. Our family are returning home to the other side of the world tomorrow and this afternoon we had a picnic in the park with members of our daughter in law's side of the family. We have to be at the airport at 8 am tomorrow and I am dreading the goodbyes.

I know how you feel! That's how it felt to say good-bye to our younger son and his family when our Christmas visit was over. Hold on to the memories and view pictures often! That's how I deal with it. (o:

thankyou everyone for your kind thoughts.it is so nice to be part of such a caring community. The family got home safely yesterday and we are looking forward to Skyping with them on Saturday. We made some wonderful memories and some great photos.
