this is what happens when you are invaded by carpet moth! This is what we found under a bookcase we had to move for the painters. We knew they were around as they have nibbled along the edges of the loungeroom carpet. just as well we were planning to have it replaced. The old stuff has served us well for many years so its about time.

We had the same here many years ago. I couldn't understand what was happening to the edges of the carpet. No more woollen carpets for this house.

@teiko they only like woolen carpets and our have been down for 40 yeaars so our new ones are going to be synthetic!
