lichen and moss

Oh for a macro lens. This lichen is fascinating. It even seems to have little green plants growing in it.
My Chromebook problems seem to be solved thanks to a very helpful person at Google.com. Had to reformat both my cameras so I'll keep my fingers crossed.
Sam
A lovely close up even without a macro lens! Lichen is so interesting to look at :)

Oh I know what you mean about the macro lens. Would love to have one too. I bought myself a close-up ring which was quite cheap and does a good job aswell. But nothing compared to a good macro lense... Lovely lichen. The reindeers really like to eat that here.

Finally your issue is solved but formatting is the last resort always! That shot is amazing in its details. They say Lichens grow well only in unpolluted environs. Did you know that dried lichens of a special kind are used as a spice in Indian cooking?

@kanelipulla maybe you could snap a picture of a reindeer eating lichen. would love to see it.

@anjalikoli have had wonderful support from Google.com especially the local expert here so I am happy how things are going. Sounds interesting using lichen as a spice.

@cruiser oh I would love too. I have tried to get a good reindeer photo for a long time. But they are so shy and afraid that they run away. But I promise I will keep trying. I also agree with @anjalikoli regarding the unpolluted areas.

@kanelipulla nice to know the reindeers like lichens.
