not so super "supermoon"

tonight we had a "supermoon" . Super tides were predicted but fortunately no earthquakes. An astrologer said it could "disrupt bourgeois values" !!
Sadly by the time I went out with my camera it was just your regular old moon so I made my shot look a bit super with picmonkey.

HAHHAAH nice one Chris. All I saw was cloud and trees so I gave up quickly! It was far too cold to stand outside thinking that the super moon would somehow appear like magic!

Nice how you captured it among those leaves. We were waiting for a super moon, too, yesterday. By the time it came into view over the buildings it wasn't super anymore.

@gigiflower it certainly was another freezing night and as we live in a valley the moon has been risen quite a while before it gets over the hills and trees

Thanks everyoe for your kind comments. I was freezing and not really getting the moon in focus and by the time it climbed over the hill as Dione said it wasn't super anymore so I just let out the Picmonkey to play
