Chinese Anemones..... by cutekitty

Chinese Anemones.....

....I have so many of these pretty little flowers....they are a bit odd though.....the ones in the front garden are all pink.....and the ones in the back garden are all white.....I have tried transplanting one to the other......but no...they like their separate places.....soil differences maybe ?? Thank you for your kind comments and FAVS on yesterday's Begonia pic and for putting it on the TP and PP......very much appreciated X
A lovely flower. I must get some. I am sure the colour is due to the soil.

Maybe due to how the sun reaches both areas. Your gardens must look gorgeous with all these flowers. Mine are bare due to the summer heat.

Very pretty capture Kitty, we have found the same its down to the soil:- Hydrangeas change colour based upon the pH level of the soil, white hydrangeas do not change colour, but all others will, the more alkaline the soil, the pinker the flowers will be, with highly acidic soil leading to red shades, the more acidic the soil, the bluer the flowers will be. every days a schoolday on 365project:)

Lovely. I only found out recently that hydrangeas change colour according to the soil chemistry, so that's probably it.
