........our very good Pirate friend Shelley had her 50th birthday party yesterday....she and Mr Flynn sing as a duo under the name of Captain and the Blade and they did a 30 minute set to entertain the guests. This was their first public gig and were therefore a tad nervous. Needless to say all went well and was warmly received. We also did a Pirates set later in the evening .....which did get a little raucous ! (as it should) :)
