Watering Hill Lane graveyard. by cutekitty

Watering Hill Lane graveyard.

This quiet and peaceful place has been here since the 1800's. There are some very old, and very delapitated graves and monuments here, dating back to early 1800's and with huge monuments with angels, celtic crosses and iron fencing. It is still in use and a nice place to have a wander with camera in hand. (especially on a sunny day after so much wind and rain).
I love wandering through graveyards - this one looks lovely and rich in history

@pattyblue I think it was originally for 'posh folk' as some of the very old memorials and stones are very large and ornate.
