Curiosity is a big part of being human. There are so many things to be curious about. This morning, I discovered this pea pod and a few more like it. "How strange," I thought. When I want to eat the peas, I open up the pods first. I wondered what would make holes in the pea pods to get at the peas. Some of the holes were smaller and rounder, but I only saved this one pea pod. My guess is that the tiny slug I found made these holes, but I am not certain.
I hope there were more in tact than not. If you're overrun with slugs, I'm told that putting a dish of beer out will get rid of them and they'll be quite happy as they go!
