For the last several days, I thought of animals when I thought about the concept of humanity. You ask, "Why animals?" My answer: When we look at animals, we often assign human characteristics to them. For example, when you look at this photo of this squirrel, what do you think? Do you think that the squirrel is hungry, shy, cautious, alert, cute, darling,....? What is it about us humans that makes us want to assign human characteristics to animals? By the way: I do this all of the time!
This is the last of my BW humanity challenge shots. Tomorrow, I will begin the fourth forthnight challenge, which is BW architecture--the big picture. I hope the weather cooperates!
P.S. I noticed how blurry this looks. I should explain that I shot this through the window screen. Every time I went outside, the squirrel ran up a tree.
I do love watching squirrels and do all the things you mention comparing them mentally to people in their habits and attitudes. Just wish they weren't as weary of us so we could record their antics more easily.
So cute, and lovely captured .
Thank you for you so nice comment.
if I ask my dear mother all those questions she would replay : don`t think so much. It only give you headache`s and : Leave this to a horse. He got a bigger head.
