I am so grateful that I live where there is a bird migration path. My area is not in the main bird migration path, but I get to see a lot of the bird migration path in the Spring and in the Autumn. I noticed birds gathering on the utility lines behind my mother's senior residence center today. I have noticed similar bird gatherings during the last few months. I see this more often right before a cold front moves through. A cold front will be moving through tonight, so the birds were right on schedule. I took this shot with my cheaper camera. I wish I had had my other camera with me. My cheaper camera does not shoot well at this distance. The structure to the left is one of my city's water towers. The water tower almost looks like it is part of my mother's home. In fact, it is several city blocks away.
I apologize for my lack of commenting this week. I am getting ready to sell crafts at a craft show this weekend. I am spending a lot of my time on the craft show preparation. I am cutting corners on things I can, so I can get everything ready in time to set up for the craft show on Friday. I hope to catch up with everyone next week.
... and in addition to all this crafting wares, you visit your mother! I daresay its great to point out certain things there and the birds on the wire would be one of them!
