I feel blessed that Autumn has been warm as long as it has been this year. A strong cold front is moving through tonight. The temperatures are predicted to be 35 degrees colder tomorrow. The prolonged cold temperatures for the next week will put an end to the flowers outdoors. This always makes me sad. I want to hang onto the flowers as long as I can each year. I think the cucumber beetle burrowing into the mum flower expresses how I felt today as I snapped pictures of the few flowers that were blooming in my garden today.
