This squirrel jumped to a standing position with her "hands" extended every time she heard even a little noise. She looked like she wanted to fight whatever had disturbed her during her acorn gathering. All of the animals seemed a bit edgy today. Perhaps they know the weather is turning colder today and the rain is going to change to snow. This squirrel was my blessing today, because she provided comic relief on a gray, dreary day.
