My husband and I traveled to visit his family over the weekend. On Friday, the weather was miserable for driving, but it could have been much worse. We drove through rain and fog almost all of the trip. Right before the highway turnoff to his family's city, the sun broke through the clouds and there was a beautiful sunset. Although the colors are muted in this shot, this one is my favorite one. There is a hint of the blue sky and a hint of the sunset. The landscape looks drab like it did throughout the trip. The fog and mist are rising off of the pond. This fog remained with us for the remainder of the weekend.
