Sinking

I am 99.9% sure that this is the same leaf from yesterday. The other leaves in the puddle kept on emerging from the ice. This leaf was sinking into the ice. The ice began to melt today as the sun shone brightly. However, the wind was bitterly cold. On other sunny, cold days, the puddle has not melted at all. It always amazes me how the puddle can be so different day to day.
