Tree leaves were left behind on the puddle when the winds died down. Since the puddle has shrunk so much, the leaves had a difficult time floating on top of the water. This leaf was resting on its edge in the puddle. The afternoon sunlight shone through the leaf.
This photo was taken on the 18th, but I did not get around to uploading it until the 19th.
P.S. I am discovering that it is more difficult to find and bring out the beauty when the puddle is just a mud puddle. It was much easier to do so when it was frozen. I will keep trying though, as I am learning a lot from photographing this puddle.
