The Fast Drip by daisymiller

The Fast Drip

The weather has been changing quickly. We had winter weather in the evening: rain, freezing rain, sleet, snow pellets, and finally snow. In the morning, the temperatures rose above freezing. Water literally poured off of the trees. The ice melted less dramatically off the plants, but it was still fairly dramatic.

P.S. This shot is for the flash of red (BW) February challenge. For the fourth week of this challenge, I decided to do macro shots. Usually, I try to focus in on the subject and "blank" out the background. This week, I am going to try to include the background---perhaps just the blurred background. I am hoping that this will give an idea of the location, the environment, and/or the surroundings of the subject. We will see what happens.
Looks good Daisy! I have to get off 365 for a while and put together my posts- but it's been too much fun looking at everyone's pictures!
