To me, red buds should be called pink buds. However, red buds are among my favorite spring blooming trees. Last fall, the trees had lots and lots of seed pods on them. The seed pods still linger on the trees. There are many more seed pods on the tree in the phoot. I decided to show more of the blossoms than the seed pods. We have had lots of clouds this week. Some of the clouds can be seen in the background.
