The insects have arrived this week. I have been unable to shoot pictures of the butterflies and the bees. They are just too quick for me at this time of year. However, I was able to capture several shots of this strange looking insect on the bathtub. My husband did not bat an eye when I asked him to hold up a silvery car windshield shade so I could have more light. However, he did raise an eyebrow when I gently captured this insect and let it loose outside.
P.S. I keep thinking that I will have enough time to type comments on your photos. I appreciate everyone who writes comments about my photos. I am spending more time with my mother these weeks. She has been fighting an infection. Her health declined even farther and she was placed on hospice this week. It is one of those rough times in life. I will try to keep taking photos each day, as this relaxes me. I hope I can keep posting them on a daily basis.
You did need more light and that was a good idea. If you picked him up and put him in better light, he'd probably end up squashed! You can see rainbow colours in his wings!
