The garden phlox is still blooming. Sometimes, the summer rains come at the wrong time and wreck the blossoms. However, the phlox is flourishing this year regardless of the unseasonable cold spell, the rains, and the recent heat and humidity wave. This shot is one of the ones in which I was experimenting with depth of field when showing more than one blossom. The good news is that I am finally getting better with depth of field.
