It is time for the state fair. I attended the fair on the opening day. My eyes were caught by the colorful food kiosks spread along the main boulevards on the fairgrounds. Many of the kiosks had flags on top. I think they made some of the kiosks look like castle towers.
@maggiemae Thanks. I found the state fair very colorful. The corn dogs are hot dogs which have been covered with a cornmeal batter and then cooked. Hot dogs are considered to be sausages by many. However, I find the hot dogs covered with batter that are served at the German festivals in my country (the United States) to have a more distinctive flavor. Just don't tell my husband this. He likes corn dogs.
