I heard a bird singing, but I could not find it for the longest while. I finally found the singer, but I never captured a picture of it with its mouth open.
@deborah63 Thanks. I did not see that I had captured the rainbow feathers until I placed this image on my computer. This is a starling. You can see the rainbow when the light is just right and the pose of the bird is just right.
@pyrrhula Thank you. This is a starling. They look black until the lighting and the pose of the bird are just right. We have a few varieties of starlings here. They are considered "trash" birds by the farmers, because they eat so much of the crops. I live in a small city. I find the starlings pretty. They leave most of my garden plants alone.
