The lilac bush is blooming in the back corner of my flower garden. The blossoms have a sweet, sweet scent. We had lilac bushes in the yard of my childhood home. The scent of the lilac always brings back fond memories of those childhood days in the springtime.
These are just beautiful - I too love the smell of the lilac. We had to cut ours back so far last winter that it's just now starting to show some sign of life. Beautiful colors.
