Orange Cosmos in BW

I cannot believe that it is mid-November! The daytime temperatures are climbing into the 60s and 70s this week. The flowers are still blooming in many places. We have had frosts, but we have not had a hard freeze yet. It seems more like mid October.
Sounds like you just gave our weather forecast - walked in shorts and t-shirt this afternoon - such a strange November. Love this in b&w - great focus on that center. Fav

Very ince in b&w even if I prefer flower pictures in colour. It is the same here - about the weather, I mean. Yesterday I read that this year was the warmest worldwide ever.

It has truly been a strange Autumn. We have had similar weather. There are still some trees with all their leaves even though they are mostly brown. Good shot!

@milaniet Thank you for your comment and for your fav.

@maggiemae Thank you. I think the lighting helped make the petals look this way.

@jo38 Thank you!

@sangwann Thank you. It looks like 2016 will go down as a hotter than usual year in the weather books. I prefer flower photos in color too. I am trying to improve my black and white skills these days.

@sailingmusic Thanks. I was surprised by how white the petals turned out. I think the lighting had something to do with that.

@pyrrhula Thank you!

@olivetreeann Thank you! It is similar here. Some trees have lost their leaves. Some still have their leaves. Only a few trees have nicely colored leaves. To get the colors to pop, I have to photograph the trees close to the sunset.
